It's Jim's 40th birthday and Vicky and Steve invite Jim, Liz and
Andy for tea. Jim gets drunk and starts causing a scene, much
to Liz's annoyance. Things between Liz and Jim keep on deteriorating
and Jim keeps on drinking and she turns to Des for comfort...
and they end up kissing each other in the Bookies shop!
Reg is distraught, everyone thinks he is the Red Rec Flasher.
Mr. Firman offers Reg a position of National Distribution Manager
in Lowestoft but Maureen and Maude don't want to move, they say
he will be running away from the speculation in Weatherfield if
he moves to Lowestoft. So, finally, Reg tells Mr. Firman that
he wants to stay with his wife and mother in law.
Mike is proving to be very supportive of Deidre and helping her
come to terms over the loss of Samir.
More complaints in the Rovers over the change of beer from Newton
and Ridley to Nuttalls.
